Thick strips of exposed, dyed wool are interwoven with black yarn for a truly unique, fun, contemporary, and visually and texturally enticing pillow. Named "Ma-kuun" meaning 'traditional blanket' in native Chilean dialect, this collection of pillows and throws features rich earth tones, subtle textures, and ancient techniques, fusing elements of striking individual design with traditional weaving. Crafted on ancient looms and utilizing natural dyes from bark, leaves, clay and moss, color and dimension come together to bring nature to the home.
Treko, which means ‘yarn of wool’ in native Chilean dialect, offers a line of luxury textiles handcrafted on Chiloé, a remote island off the coast of Chile. Fusing elements of striking individual design with traditional weaving and knitting, the textiles are made from 100% natural wool and are crafted using techniques dating from the 16th century, passed down within the Huilliche community. Founded with the desire to preserve and share the work of these master artisans, Treko combines a contemporary aesthetic with the time-honored traditions of the region and its people.
