Woven from 100% solution-dyed acrylic, these pillows resist UV radiation, mold, mildew, and staining for a worry-free outdoor accessory that's made to lasts through the seasons. Sien + Co. is a textile design studio based out of Park City, UT. Inspired and empowered by a group of women working at an artisan cooperative that she stumbled upon in Nepal, Alexandra Gibson founded Sien + Co, a small knitwear company that quickly evolved into a high-end business with a broad range of ethically sourced, handcrafted soft furnishings.
Her search for the perfect fiber led Gibson to South America where she developed relationships with designers and artisans in remote areas of Peru and Argentina. Handwoven on looms in their own back yards, these independent artisans create decorative pillows and chunky throws artfully crafted using organic Pima cotton, sheep wool, and alpaca wool dyed with earthy pigments derived from local plants and natural resources. Desiring to grow her business in much the same manner as she started it, Alexandra makes the trip to South America several times a year, discovering new fibers and designs and drawing inspired from the world around her.
