Brand
Born and raised in Venice, Federico de Majo grew up inside his family’s glassblowing factory, Vetreria De Majo, where he learned the centuries-old craft of Murano glass from an early age. What began as apprenticeship became passion, and eventually, his own creative language.
Today, Federico lives and works in the countryside of Treviso, though his artistic soul remains anchored to Murano. Through Zafferano, he channels this heritage into vibrant, contemporary design. Expanding beyond its celebrated lighting and glassware, Zafferano America now handcrafts Italian dinnerware outside Rome—bringing modern craftsmanship and timeless tradition to tables around the world.
