Incense Cones - Spring Arroyo
Traditionally used for court ceremonies and meditation, incense is an integral part of Japanese identity. The Sonoran Desert Series takes inspiration from the North American landscape, combining an ancient Eastern tradition with an unequivocally American character. Named after the dry creeks of the Sonoran Desert, this fragrance combines floral notes with the rich zest of bergamot.

Brand
Tennen is a multidisciplinary architectural firm based in Phoenix, USA, founded by Ethan and Sarah Swartz Wessel in 2001. Dissatisfied with the lack of beautiful and functional incense burners, they decided to create their own, designed to prevent the nub of the incense from sticking to the vessel after burning. From buildings to aromas, their design projects pursue aesthetic simplicity inspired by the culture and design sensibilities of Japan - natural light, seasonal rhythms, minimalism, and the inherent physical and sensual qualities of materials.
