With René as photographer and Barbara as writer, they have contributed to leading magazines including Vogue, The World of Interiors, AD, Elle, House & Garden, Country Living, and House Beautiful.

Angelika Taschen earned her doctorate in art history and German literature in 1986 and has been with TASCHEN since 1987, publishing numerous titles on art, architecture, photography, design, travel, and lifestyle.
