French Blooms: Floral Arrangements Inspired by Paris and Beyond
French Blooms is Sandra Sigman’s debut book, presenting the art of arranging flowers in the chic, romantic French style. Drawing on her experiences living in Paris, Sigman shares design principles she learned from a favorite Parisian florist, guiding readers through creating arrangements filled with movement, texture, and surprise.
Projects include mantle displays in ironstone gravy boats, compote-style dining arrangements, powder room posies, and beribboned hand-tied bouquets. The book also covers choosing containers—from vintage stoneware crocks to white ceramic footed vases—along with flower care, tools, and techniques. Lush photographs taken in Paris, Normandy, and Provence accompany each tutorial, making French Blooms both inspirational and practical, while celebrating the elegance and charm of French floral design.
