A Los Angeles based contemporary designer, Alexandra von Furstenberg created her eponymous brand in 2007, offering luxurious, innovative, modern furniture and home accessories made of acrylic. During her ten-year career at Diane von Furstenberg, as Creative Director and later as Director of Image, Alexandra was instrumental in the re-launch of the iconic wrap dress as well as reinforcing the relevance of this American brand. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2005, Alexandra focused on designing exclusively for the home. Alexandra von Furstenberg was conceptualized while Alexandra was designing acrylic tables inspired by faceted gems for her own home. Realizing there was a large market for her designs, she expanded on her initial creations, introducing a line of trays, bowls, vases and a variety of tabletop accessories. Since then, her collections have only continued to grow and evolve, with new colors and pieces added each year.
