Hampton's Guide

One of our favorite places to celebrate the summer! Whether you’re tucking into a book by the pool, lounging on the beach, or wining and dining yourself at the best restaurants, we've created the ultimate guide of where to stay, play & dine with the utmost style in The Hamptons.

Stay

Baron’s Cove, Sag Harbor

In the heart of Sag Harbor, just above East Hampton, you’ll find the recently renovated hotel and restaurant, Baron’s Cove. With all the amenities of any luxury hotel experience, and a stylish, sophisticated restaurant, helmed by “Chopped” winner, executive chef Jay Lippin, Baron’s Cove, feels like an oasis that you’ll never want to leave.

The Maidstone, East Hampton

A chic staple in the center of East Hampton, the recently renovated Maidstone Hotel has been an inn & hotel in the Hamptons since the 1920s. New design features include an updated, whimsical take on the traditional Americana and Hamptons aesthetics that are reflected in the shared spaces throughout, including the pink sun room, art bar and new take on a classic lounge. The hotel has 19 individually designed rooms and cottages for an intimate & restful long weekend away.

Gurney’s, Montauk

Located in Montauk at the end of the Hamptons stretch, lies this relaxing & beautiful resort. Like most hotels in the Hamptons, Gurney’s consists of a mere 38 rooms. With amenities like an indoor seawater pool, world class spa, and multiple dining options in and around the property, you won’t be thinking about anything but lounging and relaxing either on the beach or poolside all weekend long.

Topping Rose House, Bridgehampton

Steps away from downtown Bridgehampton, Topping Rose House marries old American charm with modern sleek design in an effortless fashion. The property offers 16 spacious guest rooms and 6 additional One-bedroom suites. The amenities include a Jean-Georges restaurant, a pool, health and spa facilities, and chauffeur services that are able to shuttle you around the town.

Latch Pop Up, Southampton

Formerly the historic Village Latch Inn, the ambience of this five-acre retreat is charmingly rustic and relaxed and reminiscent of the great Summer Colony past with a 21st century refresh. Behind the white gates, a no-frills yet all-essential relaxing stay is found in a private, country setting with newly refurbished, modern accommodations.

Dine

The Surf Lodge, Montauk

The perfect open air restaurant with all the quintessential Montauk party vibes. Enjoy a taste of the sustainable and local food, from the fresh seafood that comes directly off Montauk Harbor each day, to produce from the farms of the East End and North Fork of Long Island. Or grab a drink and lounge at the tiki-themed beachfront area.

Wölffer Kitchen, Amagansett (Pictured) & Sag Harbor

With the obvious aesthetic of Wölffer’s signature bohemian spirit, Wölffer Kitchen, the family-owned winery’s first restaurant ventures, serve coastal, farm-to-table dishes with a twist. Pair any of their plates with one of their wine selections for an even more exciting experience (we love the Summer In A Bottle Rosé!)

Nick & Toni’s, East Hampton

A staple in the Hamptons for the past 30 years, Nick & Toni’s Italian inspired menu is a definite favorite of GDV’s. All of their ingredients are local, and many of them are even grown by the restaurant itself in their back garden. Some of our favorites dishes are the Artisinal Cheese Selection (with house made Jams), Market Catch & Free Range Chicken.

La Fondita, East Hampton

The East End’s token Taqueria, all dishes are made with fresh local ingredients, as with most Hampton’s restaurants. Order to go or dine under the stars at their al fresco picnic tables.

Elaia Estiatorio, Bridgehampton

Classic Grecian restaurant, Elaia Estiatorio is the perfect destination for a casual bite or a full meal with family and friends. Some of our favorite finds on the menu include the Htipiti (Whipped Feta), Chicken Souvlaki and the Grilled Market Fish.

Pierre’s, Bridgehampton

Serving classic French fare, Pierre’s has been a Hamptons staple for years. Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, there’s something for everyone at Pierre’s. Dine outside for a true Parisian experience.

Farmer’s Market Visit

There’s nothing we love more than farm fresh fruit & vegetables! Wherever you are in The Hamptons, be sure to stop by one of the local Farmer’s Markets to select your ingredients for the weekend. What’s more is many of the farmers are sources for the local restaurants.
